Assessments are due annually by March 1st of the assessment year.  Reminders will be sent out quarterly to individuals that are not paid in full.  Partial payments are acceptable and will be deducted from the balance due or added to your credit.  If there are hardships, you may contact the trustees to negotiate an alternative payment plan.  Failure to contact the trustees will cause the incomplete assessments to fall under the standard processing guidelines:  Late/non-Paid-In-Full annual assessments will accumulate a penalty of the greater of 15% or 2% over the current prime rate (5.25%) established at Firstar Bank (now US Bank) as allowed in Number 8 section j. of your indentures since the due date.  A lien may be imposed on the property if the assessment has not been paid off by a predetermined date specified in the reminders.

 

Personal checks: Please make your check payable to “New Jamestown Place Homeowners Association” and drop in the mailbox at the address at the top of the invoice, or ‘hand deliver’ to one of the New Jamestown Place Homeowners Association officers.

 

Cash: Cash is not the preferred method of payment. If it is the only way you can pay, please deliver in person with the attached receipt to one of the New Jamestown Place Homeowners Association officers. The receipt will be your proof of payment once it is dated and signed by both you and the officer.

 

Online payments: If you use online banking, some institutions allow you to setup online payments. You could add the New Jamestown Place Homeowners Association as a payee and have the institution write out and send a check. The institution will place your address on the check, so we will know who it is from. When you create the payee, you will be given an option to add a line to identify the account (memo). You can use this line to provide any additional information you would like on the check. The address of the payee should match the address at the top of the invoice.

 

Credit cards: Payment by credit card is currently available through PayPal. Each credit card transaction has a fee of 2.9% + $0.30 ($7.78 for $250.00) associated with it. This fee would be added to the amount of the transaction.  A reoccurring donation can be setup if paying via PayPal ($21.77/mo for 12 months).   Be sure to share your shipping address when prompted so the amount can be associated with your account.  Credit card info can be entered directly if not logged into PayPal.
